How to Request a Free Print Catalog in 2026

Go to the brand's own website, find its "Request a Catalog" page, and fill in your name and mailing address. That is the whole process for most retailers that still print a catalog, and it costs nothing. The harder part is finding which brands still mail one and where their form lives, because those pages move and some disappear. This guide lists request pages we confirmed were working in October 2026, explains what the forms ask for and how long delivery takes according to the brands themselves, and covers how to stop catalogs you no longer want. It ends with how to earn cash back on the order a catalog leads to.

How It Works

A catalog request form is a mailing-list sign-up. You give a postal address, sometimes an email address, and the brand adds you to the list for its next print run. None of the forms below asked for a card number or a purchase. Many add an email box that is separate from the catalog: Burpee's form, for example, has a "Please add me to the Burpee email list" box you can leave unticked and still get the catalog. The forms differ in small ways worth knowing. L.L.Bean's asks P.O. Box customers to give a physical street address instead "for faster delivery," and has optional lines for an apartment number or a business "in care of" name. Burpee's ends with an optional "Where did you hear about Burpee?" question, which you can skip. Johnny's splits its requests by country and sends anyone outside the U.S. and Canada to email. Fill in only the required fields; the address is what the mailing needs.

Catalog request pages we found working on October 7, 2026:

  • L.L.Bean - "Request Our Latest Catalog," with a mailing address form marked "US Only."
  • Vermont Country Store - a catalog request form linked from the site's customer service menu.
  • Burpee - the seed company's free catalog request form, with the email sign-up as a separate optional box.
  • Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds - the free Rare Seed Catalog, "100+ pages" and free in the U.S. only. The page was taking requests for the 2027 edition, "due out in December."
  • Johnny's Selected Seeds - the 2026 catalog for the U.S. and Canada; the page asks requesters elsewhere to email the company instead, and points to its digital catalogs in the meantime.
  • Park Seed - a catalog request page for the seed and plant catalog.
  • Harris Seeds - a catalog request page for its home-garden and grower catalogs.

Request pages also vanish. Sur La Table's catalog request address returned "410 Gone" when we checked in October 2026, and Lehman's former request page returns "not found." If a brand you like has no request link, its customer service line can tell you whether a print edition still exists.

Timing depends on the brand's print schedule, not on when you ask, because catalogs are printed in runs. Baker Creek is one of the few that states a time: its page says the catalog "ships separately via bulk mail and will take 2-5 weeks for delivery." A request made between editions may wait for the next one, which is why several seed companies take requests for next year's catalog months in advance. If you can't wait, many brands publish the same catalog online; Johnny's links its digital catalogs right on the request page.

  • The catalog itself, free - none of the request forms above charge for a U.S. mailing; Baker Creek notes that its free catalog is free in the U.S. only.
  • Cash back on the order that follows - start the order at a cash-back site and the retailer's commission comes back to you; TopCashback says cash back tracks to your account within 7 days and becomes withdrawable once the retailer confirms the sale and its return period has passed.
  • Price checks before you buy - Capital One Shopping is a free browser tool that tests coupon codes and compares prices at other retailers, and pays its own rewards as gift cards.
  • A quieter mailbox - the same address can be taken off mailing lists you no longer want through DMAchoice, covered below.

How to Stack

A catalog earns nothing on its own; the order it prompts is where the rewards are. When a catalog makes you want to buy, don't type the web address printed on the page. Open a cash-back site first, search for the brand, and click through from there so the visit is tracked. Then pay with a rewards credit card so the card's points land on the same order. Cash-back sites pay different rates for the same store, and some pay nothing at a given brand, so check the store's page on the site before you click. One example from our checks on October 7, 2026: Rakuten's page for L.L.Bean showed 10% cash back on a raised rate, while its Eddie Bauer page showed 2%.

The other half of the routine is cutting the catalogs you stopped reading. DMAchoice describes itself as "a mail preference service offered by the ANA," the Association of National Advertisers. Its site lists tools to opt out of postal mail for a person who has died and as a caretaker for someone else, an email opt-out service, and Pennsylvania and Wyoming do-not-call registration. You can also go straight to a brand: most catalog retailers will take you off their own list if you call the customer service number printed on the catalog, the same number you would use to ask for one.

Bottom Line

Requesting a free print catalog in 2026 is still a short form on the brand's own site: name, mailing address and, if you choose, an email. L.L.Bean, Vermont Country Store and seed companies such as Burpee, Baker Creek, Johnny's, Park Seed and Harris Seeds all had working request pages in October 2026, while Sur La Table's and Lehman's have gone. Allow a few weeks for delivery, or longer if your request lands between print runs. When a catalog leads to an order, start at a cash-back site and pay with a rewards card, and use DMAchoice or the brand's own customer service to stop the catalogs you no longer want.
